Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy for Thicker, Fuller Hair

PRP Hair Restoration

Repairs the Hair Follicles for Improved Hair Health, Volume and Density

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a naturally occurring substance found in your own blood. It has multiple applications in the body to help repair and regenerate tissue. When injected into the scalp, PRP boosts circulation and the delivery of nutrients to the hair. A series of 4-6 sessions can revitalize damaged or dying hair follicles, restoring them back to health while improving hair thickness and density.

how does PRP hair restoration work?

Your PRP procedure is performed in three steps:

1) A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm and placed into a special collection tube.

2) The tube is spun in a centrifuge until the platelets are separated from the red blood cells.

3) The platelets are then transferred to a syringe and injected into the scalp using a small needle.

Most people find this process extremely comfortable and can resume their normal activities immediately after, although washing your hair is not recommended until the following day.

Who is a Good Candidate?

Both women and men can experience improved growth and thickness with hair PRP.  You’re an ideal candidate if you’re in the early stages of hair loss or following hair transplant surgery. Those with androgenic alopecia (pattern baldness) see the best outcomes. PRP can also help slow hair loss due to stress and following pregnancy. We recommend this treatment to clients who are in good general health, non-smokers, and have realistic expectations as you will require multiple treatments to achieve the desired results.
