Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, a molecule that’s naturally occurring in the body. They’re commonly used to give the face a more lifted and youthful appearance and to restore/add volume to areas such as the cheeks, mid/lower face and chin. Fillers are an excellent way to reverse volume loss and improve facial contours without surgery.

The most common areas include:

  • Lip Filler
  • Jawline Contouring
  • Cheek Contouring
  • Under Eye Rejuvenation
  • Facial Balancing (Cheek, Chin, Smile Lines, Jawline)

How do Dermal Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers work by being injected into the skin with a needle or cannula to add volume and contour particular areas of the face. They are available in different thicknesses and textures, designed especially for being injected into the skin at various depths. Depending on which areas you are getting treated, we will choose the most suitable filler for you and your aesthetic goals. Nurse Hana can use fillers to sculpt the face, restore lost volume, enhance your natural features and to correct deflation, wrinkles, and folds.

Who is a Good Candidate?

Anyone over the age of 18 can use dermal fillers, but not everyone is a good candidate. If you have volume loss in your mid to lower face, or under the eyes, dermal fillers can help you look more rejuvenated. Or, if you are looking to balance your facial structure and add more symmetry to your facial contours, then you may be the perfect candidate!
